My friends, many of us are surrounded today be great difficulties, I am aware that we may be tempted by our enemy to believe that our enemy has outnumbered us, that there is no hope and the best we can expect is to survive this life and make it to heaven.

But I am here today to assure you with all confidence that:

Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”

2 Kings 6:15-17 (NIV)

15 When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. “Oh no, my lord! What shall we do?” the servant asked.

16 “Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”

17 And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the LORD opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.”

Oh my friends, I am asking the Lord right now that the scales fall from our eyes so that we, like Elisha’s servant, may see that we are in fact surrounded by the Lord and are protected from that which the enemy seeks to destroy more than our lives, and that is.…the destruction of our faith.

Ephesians 1:18-20(NIV)

18  I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength 20 he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms…”

I would like to invite you to join me each morning, let’s start each day with this prayer out loud…Psalm 143:8-12

It will be wonderful to know we are joining with each other to proclaim the truth and praise Him!

The Lord is near,

Beverly
